Description
A full-day tour to visit one of the great jungles of Mexico, well known as the Mexican Amazon. La Tovara is a spring located in the town of San Blas, Nayarit, in the state of Nayarit, Mexico, which gives rise to a natural freshwater pond in the middle of a stream at the base of a ridge. The area is vast and full of natural channels flowing through the jungle to Matanchén Bay in the Pacific Ocean. The vegetation is lush with tropical plants, including giant ferns and mangroves, and is home to diverse wildlife such as crocodiles, turtles, jaguars, ocelots, armadillos, and a variety of birds and fish.
The tour will also visit the old and picturesque port of San Blas and the fort in ruins, from where you will see an incredible view of mountains, ocean, beaches, and a jungle of palm trees.
